Planning and Zoning Commission - May 6, 2026
ADUs are allowed by zoning use permit in agricultural, rural residential, TN1-3, and airport districts. New state law caps ADUs at 75% of the primary home's size or 1,000 square feet, whichever is greater, and water and sewer must be shared with the primary residence. Tiny homes on wheels and RVs cannot serve as ADUs under state law.
